Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were raised in the same home as Helen Moloney, who was a school instructor and trainer of jockeys who was a professional jockey. The family was passionate about horses and races. Bea started out her career as a tour-guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that racing wasn't the right fit for her.
