Matthew Matt James, born December 5, 1991 in North Carolina. Matthew Matt James is a mixed race son of Manny James (of Jamaican descendance) and Patty James. The father of Manny James is Nigerian and his mother caucasian American. James graduated in 2010 at Sanderson High School. In 2015, James earned an undergraduate degree in Economics at Wake Forest University. James first became famous by his character on the reality show's Bachelorette's star. James was chosen in the year 2020 to be the season's 25th bachelor on The Bachelor, becoming the first African American lead. The season premiered in 2021. James seemed to be the perfect choice for the role because He is attractive, well-rounded and tall and has a sense of humorous. Rachael Krkconnell was selected to be his partner for the entire season. He teamed up with the famous dancing star Arnold in 2021, to take part in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold were 12th in the contest.
